Back Pain Relief at Structure Integrative Healthcare

Is your back pain keeping you from picking up your kids, sitting comfortably at your desk, or enjoying activities you love? If yes, you’re in good company. Back pain is one of the most common reasons patients walk through our doors, and the good news is that it doesn’t have to be something you just “live with.”

What’s Really Causing Your Back Pain?

Most back pain we see isn’t random. It’s the result of everyday life: sitting too long at a computer, repetitive lifting, poor posture, or your body compensating for old injuries or pregnancy. What feels like “just tight muscles” is often your spine and nervous system under chronic stress. In parents, we frequently see pain from lifting toddlers or car seats unevenly. In desk workers, it’s the slow buildup of tension from hours in a forward-flexed position.

Our Approach to Your Back Pain

Your first visit starts with us listening. We take a detailed history, then use INSiGHT scans, posture analysis, and hands-on palpation to understand how your spine is moving and how your nervous system is functioning. We look for patterns of compensation, muscle imbalance, or nerve tension so we can correct the cause, not just chase the pain. When necessary, we’ll refer you out for X-rays.

Treatment is customized to you, no cookie-cutter adjustments. We use a combination of Diversified and Thompson Drop Table adjustments, soft-tissue work like Trigger Point Release, and stabilizing exercises. For expectant moms, we often use the Webster Technique to restore pelvic balance and take pressure off the lower back and hips. KT Tape can also be a game changer for low back support.

A Patient Success Story

One dad came in barely able to tie his shoes. Within weeks of gentle adjustments and learning how to move better throughout his day, he was playing on the floor with his children again, pain-free. His energy and patience improved too.

Keep Your Back Healthy for the Long Haul

Because motion is medicine, we recommend the following:

  • Keep moving and stretch daily
  • Change positions often, especially if you sit for work
  • Learn proper lifting mechanics and core stabilization
  • Consider maintenance chiropractic care to keep your spine aligned and your nervous system clear
